Custom Jewelry Services
If there's a piece you've had your eye on but want made differently, or you have your own gemstones you want wrapped, I'm the artist for you! I offer the option for my clients to bring their ideas to life and create a piece specially for them. Combining my wire wrapping skills with your vision, we can forge a piece of art you can treasure in your jewelry collection for years to come!
Custom Work Process & Policies
When you contact me for a custom piece, I'll ask you for photo examples of the design you're wanting to have made, and if you already have the gemstones you want wrapped, I'll request photos of those as well (typically next to a quarter for size comparison so I have an idea of how large the piece will be.)
The primary wire I use at the moment is pure 99.9% copper wire. I am able to order Sterling Silver upon request, keep in mind this will add to the time needed to make your piece as I do not keep a large amount of Sterling in stock so I will have to wait for it to be shipped to me. These are currently the only wire options I offer. I do intend to expand this eventually, when I can afford to do so.
My standard for copper jewelry is to oxidize, buff, and polish it, but if you want the piece to be kept non - oxidized I can do that for you as well.
Payments, Deposits & Refunds
I require a 50% down payment for all custom work before I will order materials or begin making the piece. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE unless a refund is requested before materials have been ordered or work has begun. The remaining payment amount is due within 60 days from the date the custom work is completed. If payment is not completed within 30 days, the client forfeits the piece and I am free to sell it in my shop.
Refunds cannot be received for work which has begun or been completed.
Processing & Shipping Times
I complete custom work in the order in which I receive it. I'll give you an estimate for how long it'll take me to make your piece, but please keep in mind this is influenced by a number of variable factors such as - the time it takes to make the piece, how many clients I have ahead of you, how long it may take to order specially requested materials, etc. Quoted times are variable, however I do my bests to get my custom orders finished faster than the time I quote my clients.
